Sony Takes Their Ball And Goes Home

On the eve of the launching of the "New Xbox Experience", which will feature streaming movies to your Xbox 360 through your NetFlix account , Sony has "made unavailable" all of it's Columbia Pictures offerings. The few hundred titles in question are still available via your PC, Television, or other means, as only the Xbox 360 is efffected.
There's a word for what Sony is doing. We're going to be gentlemen and call it "sour grapes", because "cunty" would be rude and we're not really sure it's a real word.
In an emailed statement to MTV Multiplayer, NetFlix VP of corporate communications Steve Swasey had the following to say:
“In the case of Xbox 360, a few hundred titles are temporarily unavailable to be streamed via the Xbox game console. Those titles are still available to be watched on subscribers’ computers and on TVs via other partner devices, and we hope they’ll be licensed for Xbox 360 shortly.”
He then goes on trying to spin the fact that Sony is being a bunch of douches.
They can claim "competetive business" all they want, but I'm not buying a $400 PS3 to stream "Gigli".
